Dr. K. S. Senthil Kumar, Founder and Director of Smile and Glow Dental Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., has been creating beautiful smiles for patients in India and across the globe for over 30 years. He is one of India’s most recognized orthodontists, renowned for his expertise in TMJ disorders, neuromuscular dentistry, dental sleep medicine, airway and implantology.
As one of the few dentists in India specializing in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD), Dr. Senthil Kumar utilizes advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies such as the J-5 TENS machine, T-Scan, and SAM articulators, for which he received specialized training in Germany. These state-of-the-art methods allow him to achieve predictable, long-term stability in a relaxed TMJ position, providing patients with a comprehensive, one-time solution for TMD and promoting lifelong oral health and well-being.
Dr. Senthil Kumar has also undergone extensive training in global implantology protocols and adjunctive surgical procedures such as maxillary sinus lifts and bone grafts. He is highly experienced in placing dental implants successfully, including immediate loading implants, All-on-4 / All-on-6 techniques, and implant-supported dentures, delivering functional and aesthetic outcomes with precision.

Education and Specialization
Dr. K. S. Senthil Kumar completed his BDS in April 1995 and went on to earn his MDS in Orthodontics in 1999 from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. He further pursued a Fellowship in Implant and Aesthetic Dentistry from Nobel Biocare (Sweden).
He has undergone advanced training in Bio-Prosthetic Functional Denture Systems (BPS) and CAD-CAM dentures, with a special focus on full mouth rehabilitation, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD), sleep disorders, and surgical orthodontics. His certifications also include Posturology and Dental Sleep Medicine and Airway dentistry, further strengthening his holistic approach to dental care.
Dr. Senthil Kumar received specialized training in SAM articulators from Germany and serves as the National Trainer for SAM articulators in India, conducting hands-on workshops in many reputed dental colleges and universities across the country.
