Full mouth fixed ceramic teeth ( All-on-6 / All-on-8)

Full mouth fixed ceramic teeth ( All-on-6 / All-on-8)

It is usually performed in patients who have lost all the teeth in the jaw. A full arch of artificial teeth will be supported by either a minimum of 4 or 6 or 8 implants in each jaw  depending upon the quality and quantity of the bone and the chewing forces.

The more the number of implants, the better and even would be the distribution of chewing forces and the stability. An All-on-4 implants can take up comparatively lesser load and is usually recommended for fixed dentures as they are less in weight.  Whereas All-on-6 or All-on-8 implants can take up more load and can support full arch of 12-14 ceramic or zirconia teeth respectively.

Depending on your bone quality and your budget the number of implants can be planned to replace the full compliment of teeth.
